Built by people who lived through real attacks
OpenWaf started in Ankara in 2021, when our founders kept getting woken up at 3 AM by HTTP floods hammering game servers. Existing solutions were either too expensive or too slow — so we built our own edge filter.
Today we run 12 edge PoPs in 4 countries, filter billions of malicious requests every month and keep game networks, shops and hosts online through attacks peaking over 15 Tbps.
